Sauntering is extremely beneficial to our health. However, in order to do it safely, you need to follow some important rules.
Lack of hydration and rest
It seems obvious that you should replenish the water you lose with sweat during a session. However, when using the sauna, we have noticed that some people do not hydrate at all. This can result (at best) in a bad mood or headaches. The same is true for resting between sauna sessions. A cold shower and a moment of relaxation will help the body stay balanced.
No sauna cap
If you want to avoid pains, and dizziness, bad mood and also overheating of the body - use sauna caps. Choose products of proven quality, made of natural materials.
Polyester
Polyester is plastic, and this plastic is not inert to our skin at higher temperatures. Therefore, we recommend using bathing suits made of cotton, for example - in textile areas. In non-textile zones, too, let's cover ourselves with a towel made of natural materials.
Custom oils
Some, even in public saunas, use their own preparations - which is, of course, forbidden. Particularly dangerous in this regard is menthol, which gives the impression of cooling the body, so that we have a false sense that the body is not overheated, and we spend more time in the sauna than we should. Information has reached us that such a stay of a certain sauna-goer cost the next morning ... a 40-degree fever.
Alcohol consumption
While this seems like a matter of course - consuming alcoholic beverages while in a sauna, where the temperature is high, is very dangerous to our health, and a real threat to life.
Loud talk
At the very end we seem to mention the least important issue, but it is not unimportant. For many people, staying in a sauna is not only a way to improve immunity, health, or get rid of toxins. Sauning is a form of relaxation, a way to calm down and escape from everyday worries, so try to keep quiet during a sauna session.
